Pod Midi Out

I’ve been using the Pod for over a year now, and it’s been really fun due to its practicality. I’ve been flashing directly from PlugData, and controlling it with an external MIDI controller.
One thing I’ve been missing is the ability to send MIDI from it. Has anyone tried adding a MIDI out TRS?

Is this a feasible project for someone without programming experience?

Something I am working on

The next generation of my PCB designs turned out surprisingly well. Unlike the POD Expander, this is a stand-alone design. This is the first time I am using 4 layers. The next iteration will have an encoder. I am still debating if I should add LEDs. [20240222_202653]

The project is difficult to follow and seems very advanced for someone without any programming experience. I’ve been watching Electrosmith’s YouTube videos on adding components to the Seed, but it’s unclear if the same procedure applies to the Pod.
I’ll keep searching the forum, but it’s not easy to see were to start and the information seems
scattered.

Is your Pod the original version, or the current version? If I recall correctly, the old one had headers accessing all Seed pins, which could make this easier.

MIDI out is just two resistors and the DIN socket, and the software has already been done by others.
