Voltage Protection for Daisy Patch SM's CV Inputs

Hi,
I apologize if this question has already been asked,
Does the CV input of the Patch Submodule have overvoltage protection or do I need to add clamp circuit?

Now I checked datasheet,
CV input seems to be able to input up to the voltage of Power input, does this mean that the clamp circuit is not necessary if the CV input voltage is less than the Power input voltage?

Yes, as shown in the Patch SM datasheet, the CV Input minimum and maximum is determined by the negative power in and positive power in. You shouldn’t need to have any circuitry between the Euro jack and the CV input pins.
