USB MIDI input on the Pod with Arduino code

Hi,

I’ve seen some MIDI examples that come with DaisyDuino, but they all state that they work with the TRS MIDI and not USB.

In the images of the Pod produect page, it looks like the micro USB port on the mother-board is for MIDI. Additionally, the last from left mini-jack only connects to D14 (according to the pinout).

So, my question is, what is the standard way to send MIDI messages to the Pod? What does the DaisyDuino library support? Is there a way to send MIDI from the mother-board USB and Arduino code?

Thanks.

So, the micro USB does not connect to the MIDI interface, right? It’s only the mini jack that can connect through a MIDI to jack cable?

The micro USB on the POD is connected to the second USB pins on the Seed. It is a USB port, so it can be used for MIDI, serial communications, audio, etc.

The MIDI TRS input is used for MIDI input, using a Type A MIDI TRS cable. The Pod does not have a TRS MIDI output.

The USB port on the SEED can be used to send and receive MIDI over USB.

I can’t find any examples from DaisyDuino that use the USB for MIDI input. Is there a setup guide or some tutorial for it?
