USB 2 Audio Class Driver?

I’ve been struggling trying to put together a system for processing 4 signals (bass guitar, separate strings). Getting the audio HW is always a stumbling block. But I do have a Behringer XR18, with sixteen input and output channels. If there were a USB 2 Audio Class driver, my input and output woes would be over, at least until I get to a point where I want to create an actual HW product.

Has anyone looked into this?

(I can use the JTAG interface to download, debug and run programs, so I don’t need USB for that).

Hi Jandyman!

That sounds like a cool project.

As far as I know, I don’t think there’s USB 2 Audio Class driver support for Daisy. But I can bring this up to the team to double check and get back to you if there is.

I think your best bet (especially if you’re considering making a product) is going to be the PCM3060, which is used for Patch SM and future Daisy hardware.

I think the original post wants to send send 4 streams of audio to and from the Daisy over USB, and use the xr18 for audio in/out, so the codec isn’t relevant.

Got it, thanks for the clarification. I wasn’t too familiar with XR18.
