Hello everyone, I have a question to ask. My Daisy Seed is equipped with 16 potentiometers, eight buttons, and eight LED lights. The potentiometers are connected to the Seed pin through two 4051s, and the buttons are connected to one 4021. The LED is directly connected to the Seed pin, and everything is running well. I wrote a simple test patch in Plugdata, which is close to 128kb in size. When I chose Small, and everything was fine, but I chose Big or Huge. The Flash process was displayed as complete, but in fact Seed did not run a new patch, but run an earlier patch. I also saw similar problems on forums. Regarding Bootloader, I don’t understand very well. Some people… Can you tell me in detail?
Do you understand what the Daisy Bootloader is and how it works?
Big and Huge options use the bootloader. Please check that you have the bootloader installed correctly before proceeding.
This video tries to explain some things and how to put the Daisy into the correct flash mode:
Thank you very much for your reply. The patch has now been flashed into SRAM. I have another question. My 8 LEDs can work by connecting to Seed through 4021, but I found that the status of the LEDs is reversed from the settings in PD. When I set 1, the LED goes out, and when I set 0, the LED lights up. I have to use [-1] - [abs] to reverse it every time. How can I solve this problem? Is it useful to modify the definition of JSON? Or is there any other way? Thank you.
