Question about a TL074 on Patch schematic

Hey there!

I’m studying to the Patch schematic and was wondering about the use of the TL074 op-amps for the gate out (U13).

Is it safe to think it could be replaced by just a TL072? As it seems only 2 op-amps are used. Or am I misunderstanding the use of the 2 remaining ones?

I believe you’re correct, I think the other two are kind of just hanging out!

That is correct, the leftover channels of U13 are certainly, “just hanging out” :slight_smile:

You can definitely use a TL072 instead (or even two TL071s).
