Hey there, we are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.
At the moment there is a new build on the develop branch of the plugdata toolchain. You will need to have a github account to download it: Merge pull request #48 from plugdata-team/libusb-codesign · plugdata-team/plugdata-heavy-toolchain@d32bebc · GitHub
It will still complain about dfu-util permissions, but after allowing them it will work.
We hope to have a proper fix with an automated update soon.
