Porting PD patch to a different integration

I am trying to build a multichannel MIDI sequencer based on Pure Data.
Unfortunately MIDI with Pure Data on Daisy is not stable so it is not an option.
Does anybody know what would be the best altrnative to using Pure Data with MIDI on some microcontroller?

  • Convert pd patch into max/msp and implement it into daisy?

  • Convert pd patch into RNBO and implement it into daisy or maybe some other microcontroller?

  • Go with the pd and the raspberry pi (I guess this would be the most expensive production cost)?

  • Some other option I am not familiar with?
