POD web patch flashing - issues

Hi,

I bought a POD a year+ ago and after doing some tests with the web programmer I was really impressed with the demos but I had to park it.

I just got some free time again and have picked it up but the demos don’t seem to be uploading now, and I’m not getting any audio.

Chrome is connecting to the device ok, the loading UI runs and completes and it says done, but there is no audio and no difference regardless of what patch I load. I’ve tried the chord, euclidian and music box demos.

The LEDS are stuck in the blinking sequence, fast, slow…

I was a bit worried the audio on the pod stopped working, however I’ve ran the chord generator and the LEDs are definitely not changing regardless of tweaking the encoder - they’re supposed to change colour based on the chord selection. So I’m presuming it’s an issue with the flashing?

Any tips on troubleshooting?

Did you put the Pod into DFU mode?

Hey, thanks for your reply.

Yes I held the boot button then pressed the reset button. You could see it do a little blink once pressed. i’ve tried doing it a bunch of times after too.

What, specifically, is displayed in the browser after you click on Program?
on mine, flashing Blink, I get something like this:

Erasing DFU device memory
Copying data from browser to DFU device
Wrote 60308 bytes
Manifesting new firmware
Done!

The actual number displayed varies, depending on what program is being loaded.

Hi again!

I got it sorted, just my incompetency of not setting DFU mode on for each patch load. I must have did it multiple times and then loaded the blink, and then tried to load the other patches.

You definitely helped me get sorted by questioning what I was doing more, thank you!
