Osx Mojave (10.14.6) doesn't recognize Daisy USB

Can’t seem to get the Daisy to show up in my usb devices list. It’s plugged in and running in “flash mode” with a solid red light. Any ideas or tips for troubleshooting?

Have you checked what System Information shows when Daisy is in DFU mode?

To my eye it doesn’t look like it’s there

3.0 Bus

I mean System Information from the Apple pull down menu.

Right that’s where the screenshots are from. The USB tab in System Information

Ahh - I was tricked by the dark theme.

Shows up on my 10.14.6 (MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), as expected.

But was pleased to learn how to do ‘make program-dfu’ from your post.

FYI: This is what it shows up for me in the output from lsusb

So you have no USB devices at all? And you pressed the reset and boot buttons?

Well I unplugged everything for brevity so the only thing plugged in was the Daisy.

I pressed the reset and boot buttons. Just a solid red light on the Daisy Seed. Lights on the Pod stop flashing after the reset+boot buttons are pressed.

Not the same os-version but it shows up on my MacBook pro (catalina_10.15.3 macbook pro 15inch late 2013) as follows:

Plugged it in, and running the patch I uploaded to it (so not in program mode).

Circling back on this. Changing USB cables fixed the problem.

I had the same problem and a different cable solved it for me as well. The bad cable successfully supplies power, but apparently doesn’t transmit data.
