Does anyone have experience using a CNY70 as a breath controller, like the setup shown in this video?
I connected the sensor as demonstrated and I’m receiving data in PlugData, but daisy seed seems to be heating up slightly and there’s quite a lot of noise.
I think the second one (with both resistors going to ground) is better, as no light == no signal. Though using 5 volts could cause A0 to exceed the 3.3 pin limit, so you should test it with the max brightness. If it does exceed, you could use a resistor divider for A0.
The Daisy always gets a bit warm, is it warmer than when you don’t have this connected?
Thanks for the reply. I’ll try the second wiring option. I haven’t noticed the Seeed getting as hot as it does when the sensor is connected. Currently, I have six buttons and the sensor connected to it.
