Can't even upload a program

After some trouble about missing includes:

I could build the example (by copying the missing files from another zip file). After rebooting I’m getting this upload error:

What’s happening here (using Arduino IDE)? Also: do I really need to boot/reset every-time before uploading?
Update: although getting the error, the program actually runs. Strange!

Sorry for the last post. I don’t know how the other post got included as I was typing.

I am just trying to upload an example program to my Seed. From Chrome, launched the Web Programmer. Connected the USB cable, put it in boot mode. Hit Connect, there is no “DFU in FS Mode” in the list. I run Zadig, List Devices, not in this list either. Even tried restarting my PC and doing it all again.

WTF do I do now?? I have to say that so far my experience with Daisy has been as bad as when I tried to get up and running on an ST Discovery board two years ago. I had really hoped that E-S had made things better - i.e. not impossible - for me to make any progress at all. Very frustrating, to say the least.

SOLVED.

Bad f**ing USB cable. Just my luck! After struggling to install the toolchain all morning (not done yet) I was about to throw the whole thing out the window and start day-drinking.
