As I’m (somehow magically and successfully) flopping along with Oopsy I’m realizing that in the future I’ll want MIDI input to the Petal for tempo sync possibilities.
(yes I have Patch AND Petal)
I would suggest future iterations include this as default. For sync but also MIDI guitar inputs, and triggering SD card samples. 
BUT in the meantime I’d love to add this to my own Petal.
Any hints towards “the easiest” way to accomplish this? I think I may have some opto-isolators in my parts pile but I’m just a touch squeamish.
I think I can go about the business of adding the input to the Oopsy config file myself, I’m really just looking for some solicited validation before I disassemble my Petal.
