Trouble Integrating Daisy with Pure Data

Hello

I’m trying to integrate Daisy with Pure Data (Pd) for real-time audio processing; but I’m running into issues getting them to communicate properly. I’ve followed the available documentation, but my patches don’t seem to interact with the hardware as expected. :upside_down_face:

I’ve flashed the Daisy board with the appropriate firmware and set up the necessary MIDI & audio connections, but Pd doesn’t seem to recognize inputs from Daisy. :innocent:

I tested with another audio interface, and Pd works fine, so the issue seems to be specific to Daisy. Checked GitHub - electro-smith/pd2dsy: Utility for converting Pure Data (Vanilla) patches to Daisy projects. Java documentation guide but still need advice .

Has anyone successfully integrated Daisy with Pure Data? Are there specific settings or additional software requirements I might be missing?

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you ! :slightly_smiling_face:

I think you’ll need to be a lot more specific about exactly what you are doing.

How does Java apply to this? JavaScript has nothing to do with Java, aside from the similar names. With Daisy and Pd, JavaScript is used to describe the hardware to Pd.

Also, it’s best to ignore pd2dsy, and just use PlugData.

I have a suspicion this is a spam account …
